After a brief Pause and when everyone thought it has stopped, MLA’s jumping YSR Congress party into the ruling Telugu Desham party has started once again. MLA Uppuleti Kalpana who won the Pamarru(SC) Assembly constintuency in Krishana District has joined TDP in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Political analysts thought that even though many YSRCP mlas want to join TDP but after the confirmation from central that there won’t be any bifurcation or increase in the assembly seats as of now, TDP might stop taking MLA in to party. As already TDP is full with defected MLA’s and with more MLAs coming in might lead infighting in the Party. But surprisingly, Chandrababu Naidu gave a nod to MLA Uppuleti Kalpana who was earlier with TDP. She fought elections on TDP Ticket in 2004 and 2009 elections. Many say, even though she went to YSR CP, she maintained cordial relations with TDP Colleagues and Party.
Uppuleti Kalpana told the same story of joining TDP is to develop her constituency which was told by all defected MLAs till now. She is now the 21st MLA from YSRCP to join ruling TDP.
