On Wednesday, there are 7 IT companies opened in iconic Medha Towers nearby Gannavaram Airport. These companies are Spanish based Groupto Antolin, Germany based IES and American based Rotomaker, EP SOFT, Chandu Soft, Melsova and Yamaha IT Solutions. AP cabinet minister, Nara Lokesh has attended this opening ceremony. These 7 companies are going to add at least 1,600 jobs. This has been a good sign as it has been just a month since Lokesh took charge as the IT minister.
At this occasion, Nara Lokesh talked about his vision in making AP as the IT hub. During his speech in Gannavaram, he remembered that how cyber towers boosted the IT industry in Hyderabad and led the city to expand with a new sub-city called Cyberabad. He added that the prestigious Millennium which is going to be raised in Amaravati would be able to boost the IT sector in AP further. During his speech, Lokesh also mentioned that they are going to increase the connectivity of Amaravati capital region to all the parts of country. And also AP government is in the process of starting the international flight services at Gannavaram and Vizag airports.
